The question being: "Shall Amendment No. 4 be adopted?" CSHB 44(FIN) am was returned to second reading for all amendments (page 966). Amendment No. 5 was offered by Representatives Hawker and Chenault: Page 3, line 19: Delete "Bonds" Insert "Unless the issuance is approved under this subsection by law, bonds" Page 3, line 20, following "Committee.": Insert "If the Legislative Budget and Audit Committee fails to approve the issuance of bonds, the committee shall notify the Alaska Natural Gas Development Authority in writing. On or before the fifth day of the regular session that convenes after the day the rejection notice is received by the Alaska Natural Gas Development Authority, the authority may request the legislature to approve the bond issue by law." 2009-04-15 House Journal Page 1001 Representative Hawker moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 5 be adopted. Representative Kawasaki objected. Amendment No. 1 to Amendment No. 5 was offered by Representative Hawker: Under Page 3, line 20: Delete "regular" Insert "next" Representative Hawker moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 to Amendment No. 5 be adopted. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Amendment No. 2 to Amendment No. 5 as amended was offered by Representatives Gruenberg and Hawker: Under Page 3, line 20, following "notify the Alaska Natural Gas Development Authority": Insert "and all members of the legislature" Representative Hawker moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 2 to Amendment No. 5 as amended be adopted. Representative Kerttula objected and withdrew the objection. There being no further objection, Amendment No. 2 to Amendment No. 5 as amended was adopted.
